Privacy Policy

Rising Way · published by Abu Sa'da · Effective 11 October 2026

This policy explains what information the Rising Way mobile game (Android com.AbuSada.RisingWay, iOS com.abusaada.risingway, "the app") collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of the app.

In short: Rising Way has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or location. Your game progress stays on your device. The app shows ads and measures how it is used through Google, Unity and the other ad networks listed below, which collect device-level information such as your advertising ID. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before that happens, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings.

1. Who we are

3. Information stored only on your device

Your game progress (scores, collected items, unlocked cosmetics, whether ads have been removed) and your settings are saved in a file on your device. This file is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Their privacy policies:

5. Advertising and your consent

The app is free and supported by ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region where the law requires it, the app shows a consent message the first time you open it, before any ads are requested. You can choose whether to allow personalised advertising.

If you decline, you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised using your information.

Changing your choice: open Settings in the game and tap Privacy Options. This option appears in regions where it is required.

You can also limit ad tracking for all apps from your device settings:

Buying the "Remove Ads" item stops ads from being shown in the app.

6. Sharing a screenshot

If you choose to share your score, the app creates a screenshot and hands it to your device's share menu. Where it goes is your choice; we do not receive it.

7. Children

Rising Way is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. How long information is kept

Information stored on your device is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Information collected by the third-party services in section 4 is retained according to their own policies and settings.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California and other US states may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

Because the app has no accounts, we do not hold information that identifies you by name. Most information is held by the providers in section 4, and the quickest way to control it is through the choices in section 5. For anything else, contact us using the address below and we will respond within the time required by law.

10. Deleting your data

Rising Way, by Mahmoud Abu Sa'da, has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. This is how to delete the information the app and its services hold:

  1. Your game data on your device (progress, scores, unlocked items, settings): uninstall Rising Way, or open your phone's Settings → Apps → Rising Way → Storage → Clear storage. It is deleted at once. This also resets the random identifiers the analytics services use for your copy of the app, so nothing collected afterwards is linked to what was collected before. A "Remove Ads" purchase is not lost: it is restored from Google Play or the App Store the next time you open the app.
  2. Leaderboard scores (Android): these are kept by Google Play Games. Open the Play Games app, then Profile → Settings, to delete Rising Way's data or your whole Play Games profile.
  3. Advertising data: delete or reset your device's advertising ID (see section 5). The ad networks in section 4 then can no longer link new information to what they collected before. To ask a network to delete what it holds, use its privacy policy linked in section 4.
  4. Anything else: email us at abusaada.apps@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Rising Way data". We will reply within 30 days and delete any information we hold that can be linked to you.

What is kept: we do not keep your information on servers of our own. Usage statistics already sent to Google Analytics for Firebase and Unity Analytics are not linked to your name or email. Google Analytics deletes them automatically after its retention period, at most 14 months; Unity keeps them under the policy linked in section 4. Purchase records are kept by Google Play or Apple as their own policies require.

11. Security and international transfers

Information collected by the third-party services is sent over encrypted connections. These providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Significant changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
