Privacy Policy

Basket · published by Abu Sa'da · Effective 2 November 2026

This policy explains what information the Basket mobile game (com.abusaada.basket; "the app") collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Android and iOS versions of the app.

In short: Basket has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email or location. Your progress and settings stay on your device. The app shows ads through Unity LevelPlay and the ad networks listed below, which collect device-level information such as your advertising ID. Before any ad is requested, the app asks whether ads may be personalised, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings.

1. Who we are

Basket is developed and published by Abu Sa'da ("we", "us"). You can contact us about this policy or your data at the address in section 13.

2. Information we do not collect

3. Information stored only on your device

Your progress through the levels and the stars you have earned, your coins, baskets and abilities, your daily gift days, which tips you have already seen, your sound, ambience, vibration and colorblind symbol settings, your ad privacy choice, and whether you have bought "Remove Ads" are saved on your device. This information is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

4. Checking for updates

When you open the app, it downloads a small file from our website, abusaada.com, to see whether a newer version of Basket is out, so it can tell you about it. The request contains no information about you or your game. Like any request on the internet, it reaches our hosting provider, Cloudflare, with your device's IP address, which Cloudflare uses to deliver the file and protect the site. Without an internet connection the app simply skips this check.

5. Information collected by third-party services

The app uses the services below. They may automatically collect information from your device when you use the app. They act under their own privacy policies, linked below.

Their privacy policies:

6. Advertising and your consent

The app is free and supported by ads. Once you have finished the first world, a banner may appear at the top of the screen while you play a level, on screens with room for it, and a full-screen ad may sometimes appear after you win a level. Full-screen ads never appear in the middle of a level. If you choose to watch one, an ad can also continue a level you have lost or double the coins a win paid you.

Before any ad is requested, the app asks for your choice:

If you choose non-personalised ads, the app tells the ad networks that you have not consented to personalised advertising and that you opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. You will still see ads, but they will not be personalised using your information.

Changing your choice: open Settings (the gear on the home screen) and tap Ad privacy. The new choice applies to the ads requested from then on.

You can also limit ad tracking for all apps from your device settings:

Buying "Remove Ads" stops the banner and the full-screen ads. The optional ads you choose to watch stay available, and are only shown when you choose to watch one.

7. Children

Basket is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. How long information is kept

Information stored on your device is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Information collected by the third-party services in section 5 is retained according to their own policies and settings.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California and other US states may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

Because the app has no sign-up, we do not hold information that identifies you by name. Most information is held by the providers in section 5, and the quickest way to control it is through the choices in section 6. For anything else, contact us using the address below and we will respond within the time required by law.

10. Deleting your data

Basket, by Mahmoud Abu Sa'da, has no sign-up, and we keep no information about you on servers of our own. This is how to delete the information the app and its services hold:

  1. Your game data on your device (your progress, coins, baskets and settings): uninstall Basket, or open your phone's Settings → Apps → Basket → Storage → Clear storage. It is deleted at once. A "Remove Ads" purchase is not lost: Google Play gives it back the next time you open the app.
  2. Advertising data: delete or reset your device's advertising ID (see section 6). The ad networks in section 5 then can no longer link new information to what they collected before. To ask a network to delete what it holds, use its privacy policy linked in section 5.
  3. Anything else: email abusaada.apps@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Basket data". We will reply within 30 days and delete any information we hold that can be linked to you.

What is kept: purchase records are kept by Google Play or Apple as their own policies require.

11. Security and international transfers

Information collected by the third-party services is sent over encrypted connections. These providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Significant changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
